McHappy Day
This is a huge fundraiser for Westman Dreams for Kids! and all that is needed is 1 hour of time! You can work the drive through window, flip burgers or take orders! McHappy day is the busiest day of the year for out local McDonald’s restaurants so there is never a dull moment!
Children’s Country Fair
Children’s Country Fair was created as our way to say thank you to Westman for all the help they give us throughout the year. Over the years it has continued to grow in size and volunteers play a huge role in the success of this is day!
This event will be held at Keystone Centre Grounds from 10am – 4pm. We have a pile of different activities going on for Kids of all ages! When you get there you visit the volunteer table to get your Westman Dreams for Kids Swag and instructions for your placement. There are tents so that you are not under the sun the whole day, you are brought water and lunch. We have found that this is a great event to have older kids volunteer at, helping the younger ones or something that families can do to volunteer together.
Westman Dreams for Kids McDonald Classic Golf Tournament
The Westman Dreams for Kids McDonalds Classic is one of our favorite events! We look for help in many different ways to make this a successful event by way of volunteers, hole sponsors, prize donors, live auction donation items and sponsorship.
Volunteers are needed during registration, at the holes, taking lunches and much more! After this very fun day we encourage you join us for the dinner and volunteer prizes!
September – Food Truck Warz!
BDNMB.CA’s annual Food Truck Warz will be held over three days in mid-September at the Keystone Centre Groups in Brandon, MB. This years Food Truck Warz will feature approximately 20+ gourmet food trucks serving savory comfort food, delicious international dishes and scrumptious sweet treats.
We joined this event for the first time in 2017 and are very excited to join them again! We will be responsible for admission and will be needing volunteers.
