In memory of the recent passing of a family member, the Wayne Dereniwski family decided to see if they could rally enough local support to put on a New Year’s Eve social. They decided the beneficiary of the proceeds would be the Westman Dreams for Kids.
Since members of a local band, Facing the Floor were home for the holidays, they provided the music for the evening. Volunteers decorated, individuals and business’s donated auction prizes, and guests of all ages came out to join in the fun of this family oriented event. Even Mother Nature cooperated with mild temperatures.
The result was a donation, that exceeded all expectations, being given to Westman Dreams for Kids. All funds raised stay in the Westman area, and we would like to say Thank You to all the Dream Makers who had any part in making the evening a success.
